2024 was another killer season on the Rockfish with too many laughs, crazy feeds & more epic catches than ever! Thanks to everyone who fished with us last year - the bass were huge and the bluefin were close, there were so many mahi and the yellowfin were nonexistent lol. 11/20/24: Great day with Chris & friends today. Found out bait immediately then started catching bass after bass with everyone on the boat on at once! A new body of bigger fish moved in but there were still tons of slots around to mix it up. Pops got to tag a few bass and we even saw our 1st seal of the year, not to mention tons of whales 🤘 We only have 3 charter dates left this season and one spot left on fridays open boat. 11/15/24: Another great open boat today with a few dozen fish to 30lbs. Had em on live bunker and shads getting fish at every drop all morning long. Even got a nice whale show at the end! 11/8/24: Another great open boat trip today! We started out by making a pass through the bluefin grounds, saw them come up a few times but nothing solid enough to cast on so we pushed to where we left the bass chewing last night and started catching fish immediately on the bunker schools. Lots of multi hook ups all morning long. Stopped on some birds on the way home, tossed out our remaining 50 bunker, and had them blasting baits in the air immediately! Another dozen bass to 30lbs was a nice way to close out a fun day! We have 2 spots left of our next (and maybe last) open boat of the season and charter availability the week of 11/18. 11/7/24: This morning we had Mark back out with his church group- they said a prayer on the ride out & it was answered with great fishing for the crew lol. Lots of bass on the bunker schools and we left em chewing. For our afternoon we had Rockfish veteran John & fam out & it was lights out fishing. Bunker were getting blasted out of the water all around the boat and the kids had a blast reeling in big bass! Both trips even managed a couple of keepers. 11/5/24: Todays trip was catching not fishing lol. We had Curtis & fam back out with us again & the bite was instant. Literally hooking up on the 1st cast & staying on them the whole trip. I've never seen less boat shy bass, the school would follow a @nolivebaitneeded swim shad to the boat & one would grab it inches from the bow! We switched to trolling for an hour and got constant double headers, then back to throwing shads. Fun day with a great crew! 11/2/24: This morning we had Rick & fam on for his sons 18th birthday. The bite was tough & the boat traffic made it tougher. The crew fished hard though and managed a decent catch. Thanks for coming out & happy birthday! For the afternoon we had Jake & friends and the bite was on! Dozens & dozens of fish to 40lbs all on paddle tails & jigs. 10/31/24: Happy Halloween! We had John & friends out today for some lights out bass fishing before we have to get home to the kids! We started out in the deep catching em on artificials with 60" bluefin foaming around the boat 😬😬 Then we made a move to the bunker schools where bass were tossing bunker in the air around diving gannets. It was lock and load catching as many fish as you wanted, including that rare species, keeper size bass lol. 10/27/24: Another great day of fall run fishing! This morning we had Takk & friends on looking for big fish on bunker schools. Fishing wasn't lights out like yesterday morning but the boys fished hard and all caught some real nice fish. Then for our afternoon we had Kurt & Kurt on for one of those fishing trips you remember forever. On our way to the grounds we see one whale & stop on it and bunker just starts getting blasted out of the water around the boat. Bass after bass, a dozen whales breaching, non stop action for over two hours with huge fish! One of those days we rarely see & both Kurts said it was the best day of fishing in the lives- that's why we do this 🤘Thnx for fishing with us guys!
