Definitely the most memorable charter that I will ever have. Yesterday morning, the fishing started off amazing. We landed 12 bass to 40lbs (new season leader) in under an hour, also dropping a few. Rather than catching and releasing more, we opted to try for blues. So we took a ride to good old Jamaica Bay to look for them. Massacre is the best way to describe that fishing. We started off chunking on the anchor, but then realized that they were so thick, we could jig them also. So we sat on anchor jigging blues one after another until I got the call! Wife going into labor early. We had a boat load of fish anyway, so no one minded going in early. A few hours later we have a new Rockfish family member. Richard jr. Crazy!
